The Tax Office intend to have refunds paid within 14 days, so the sooner we lodge your return the quicker you will receive your refund. 

Please provide all details of your income such as payment summaries, interest, dividends you have received etc. We also require details of any work related expenses you have incurred such as purchase and cleaning of uniforms and protective clothing etc.  Details for work related motor vehicle expense are also required such as a log book or  diary of trips made for work purposes. If you have a rental property, please provide all of your rental income and expenses for your rental property.  

Many people these days are busy and find it hard to take time out to come into our office.  As a suggestion, you may simply post or fax your information to us.   We will check the information you provide and contact you if we need further clarification.
